Profile:

I registered as an Migration Agent in January, 1999 and have, since 2002, served the advancement of the migration advice profession as an active voluntary member of the Migration Institute of Australia (MIA) and the Migration Alliance as an elected member of the national executive committees or those organisations.

From 2006 to 2008 I served a term as a Director on the Board of the Migration Institute of Australia and as an elected volunteer on MIA Victorian and Tasmanian state committees from 2002 until 2009.

Knowledge is crucial to success in the immigration industry, so I continuously update mine through professional seminars (professional development), journals, professional net-working, and participation in professional online forums for registered migration agents..
Currently, I am active in the Management Committee of Migration Alliance ( MA) working with our members for the betterment of the profession, integrity of the Australian immigration programme and industry and for the benefit of consumers .

My background:

Small manufacturing business owner and operator serving Queensland retail, agricultural and fishing industries, over a period of sixteen years.
Assistant Principal at a language school (qualified TEFL teacher) in Qld.
Promotion and marketing consultant to hospitality and tourism businesses in Queensland
My interest in immigration as a career began when, as Assistant to the Principal at a language school, I taught students holding a wide range of visas, student, working holiday, business and various permanent residency visas. My work brought me into frequent contact with people who had varied and complex migration situations and with the working of the Immigration Department. I have enjoyed and learned a great deal from previous career paths and am enjoying my work in this profession. I am a people person though I am pedantic when it comes to work.

"On March, 2003, my wife and I obtained a permanent residency in Australia which we had been dreaming of. This fortune entirely owes to an excellent and experienced migration agent by Leonie. My case was a very difficult one because I was over 40 years old at the time of the visa application. Moreover, migration regulations are complex and change frequently. Under these circumstances, it is, above all, the most important to find out a trustworthy and high-quality migration agent. Leonie kindly as well as sincerely guided us to the success in our permanent residency application. We must say it was extremely lucky for us to meet them.

We therefore recommend, with confidence, Chef Visa/Oz e Migrate Migration Agent to those who need a help in visa applications in Australia.

"After we have got PR, our life has been changed, especially in our mind.
Before get PR, we felt something uncomfortable, such as "we are not in a
member of Australian", or "We just allowed to be here temporarily".
We felt that we didn't have base of our life. After, many thing changed, Bank agreed to lend money, so I could have small house, …………….Those all very good opportunity has been given from this office:"Chef Visa/ O ze migrate".
At the time when I asked to help for PR application, - Application had been sent to DIMIA - I was in very bad situation. The documentation was uncompleted, had mistake, time limit is very close because my age turn soon and hit to the limit. In those bad situations, Kim provided support to me, while Leonie solved
those problems one by one. Finally we got PR, but we've also heard from other Japanese, our case was faster than their cases. It also tells us the power of
this office. Furthermore this office explained "What is the pathway of application to PR granted "at beginning, an gave report in adequate timing, it made me very comfortable."

“I would like to thank ………. from the bottom of my heart that you
helped me to realize my dream. During the last two years when we started
with immigration procedure I was not sure how it will come out, because the
Australian immigration law is very complicated and un-transparent and it changes very often, but I have trusted to Chef Visa all the times and today
when the visa has been granted I know it was a good decision to choose just Chef Visa. My case was a harder one but thanks of properly and dutiful
accession and of experienced way of working of Chef Visa we have achieved successfully our goal. After these experiences I know I would not be able to
manage this process alone. My dream came true and I feel very happy about
that and I will enjoy a new start in Australia. I will recommend the Chef Visa also to my friends, who are interested in immigration to Australia,
because I am sure of that, they will be in good hands! Thank you Chef Visa once again and I am looking forward to see you soon in person in Melbourne.” "

Josef Hahn, Chef.

“Less than two years ago, my wife Mariko (from Japan) went through the migration visa process. We both went through it (in every sense) it cost us money, time, energy and almost our sanity. Paperwork covered our house, we were constantly running - organising, arranging, cross referencing, going over our application in every detail.
Migration is like a minefield, it is a terrible thing to go through. It is a long process with many possibilities for mistakes. You are up against a machine which does not care whether you succeed or fail.
Leonie …..knows that minefield well, she walked us through it. Without her, there is every chance that we would not have survived. Time and time again, she went out of her way to help us and is still there for us even now. This is not a commercial - shop around, you may find somebody cheaper - you could definitely find somebody more expensive. However, I recommend finding a human, I recommend Leonie …..

”Testimonial
Applying for Permanent Residency can be complicated
and stressful even in the best of scenarios. I am
therefore, grateful for the help that Leonie (Migration Agent) and Kim (Administrator) gave to me.
When I first looked into applying for residency I felt
overwhelmed. The rules and requirements for
immigration are complicated and open to change. It
would have been so easy for me to make an error had I
attempted to go through the process alone.
Consequently, I decided to seek the help of an expert.
I choose Leonie as she was friendly, professional and
treated my case as individual from the outset.
Leonie's input proved to be invaluable. She advised me
at each stage of the application as to what
information she required from me and how I could
obtain it. Again, I would like to express my thanks
to Leonie and Kim for giving me piece of mind through
out my application and for achieving a successful
outcome.” "
